Nine Pieces of the Dead

Synopsis

In 1718, a hurricane tears the pirate brig Vesper apart on an unnamed cay south of Hispaniola. Nine survivors reach shore. Each carries, knowingly or not, one fragment of a chart said to lead to Captain Elias Vale's buried Spanish gold.
