Synopsis

In 2014, twenty-six-year-old Parisian designer Camille Laurent arrives in New York with two suitcases, a portfolio she refuses to apologize for, and a temporary contract at the century-old fashion house Bellwether & Rowe. She expects brutal hours and impossible standards. She does not expect Julian Mercer—the company's celebrated young design director, whose instincts seem infuriatingly close to her own.
