Synopsis

When Julien Moreau, a night security supervisor at the Louvre, finds an unregistered silver-and-ivory reliquary casket in a sealed storeroom, every museum database insists the object has been in the collection since 1824. Together with archivist Camille Lefèvre, he follows a trail of altered catalogues, looted wartime inventories and institutional lies that reaches the highest offices of the Paris art world.
